You walk into a moderately business office sit down a chair in a well-dressed lobby and wait for your name to be announced. Finally, it comes and you are assessed by an intake worker, finally sent to a therapist a week later, and then recommended to the staff psychiatrist. In this short time, you were diagnosed with Bipolar, Depression, which is an element of bipolar, and posttraumatic stress disorder. You also have a history of Diabetes, High-Blood Pressure, and Allergies. Now the doctor is not aware of the inflammatory fiber nerve disease underlying the symptoms. You continue to visit the mental health experts complaining constantly of your symptoms, and they begin treating you like a Hypochondriasis. (Someone occupied with health issues and most times are exaggerated)…you begin feeling confused, disappointed with the therapist, and decide to go to see a physician that finds a fiber nerve disease, which proves that you complaints are valid. However, you were already given prescriptions for psychotic and depressive symptoms. You begin taking the medications and suddenly your insurance policy stops payment on the drug Effexor XR. Suddenly, you explode feeling aggressive, wanting to kill, wanting to die, wanting to harm and there is no explanation since these feelings has never occurred to this magnitude before you took the antidepressants prescribed. Now the problem has increased and you are searching desperately for an answer, yet you find nothing. What went wrong you might ask? Well, Effexor XR is given to patients with depression and bipolar symptoms. Since Effexor is said to target the brain chemicals increasing the Norepinephrine and Serotonin in the brain, it is claimed to eliminate symptoms of depression and bipolar. Now Effexor XR is notorious (once the medication is stopped abruptly) for increasing behaviors including, suicidal thinking, impulsive behaviors, violent outburst and so forth. The Prescription has caused increase in Blood making it a bad deal for patients with High-Blood Pressure. Now you went to the therapist to fix a problem and your problems has increased dramatically at it is all because of health care, mental health, medical, and so on. You start feeling that it cannot get any worse, but the doctors continue increasing your medicines prescribing Tenormin (Atenolol) for your pain and after prescribing numerous doses of inflammatory prescriptions, which lead to stomach disorders, you are now taking meds to control your stomach. Moreover, it does not stop here. Next, you are given Impramine HCL for pain, Tramadol for pain, and rotated between antidepressants finally prescribed Effexor XR again. If you are feeling alone you are not, since many times doctors, mental experts, and health care providers make this mistake excessively many times to count. It is ludicrous to go to mental health experts all to find severe complications exploding your life and you are the one to blame, when in reality these experts made a serious mistake. Since the mental health expert obviously had no choice but to eliminate Hypochondriasis, and claim that they were only searching for answers to the problem (making excuses) you finally say I am searching for another mental health expert, since you have no idea what you are doing. You go to the next office; sit, wait, and when you are called you talk to an intake worker, then a therapist, and finally a psychiatrist. You go through the same procedures wondering if these experts are smarter than the other experts you just left, and soon find yourself on Effexor XR, Impramine HCL, Tramadol, and a variety of other medications. I told you people what happen before you tell the experts, yet they ignore your cries and tell you to take your medications as prescribed. Are we fixing problems or are we adding to the many problems we face every day. Some mental diagnoses were later proven a medical problem or central nervous interruption that created a series of symptoms delusional to mental health experts, believing that the patient was mentally ill. Caught in a web of testing and despair we often fight to find a reason that our minds are tricking us into acting out of accordance to the so-called normal. The solution is right in front of them in most cases, yet everyone is turning their heads and looking for another answer.
Since new studies are proving that, many antidepressants are associated with heart attacks, strokes, behavior problems, and so on why are they still prescribing drugs. Why, because they cannot answer the thousands of question about mental health, and they are unable to find a solution in many cases to treat each individual mental illness successful…Therapists are finding that listening to the patients and including therapeutic techniques is often better than drugging the patients. Since the beginning of time, mental illness has touched our lives. Starting with Cain and Able, we can see Cain’s obsessive behaviors and jealous outrages lead him to kill his own brother in cold blood. What was he thinking? He wanted attention that Able received, and he wanted something that was not rightfully his for the taking. Throughout the episode Adam and Eve had nothing but problems, and was often consumed finding a way to survive in a chaotic environment. Later through the centuries, others followed Cain’s example, while others broke off into a more deadly game. How much deadly can it get when murder is involved. Try murder in numbers, or mutilation, dismembered, beheaded, slaughter, and so forth. All for the love of money in some cases, and all for the hatred buried in the mind of the deadly predators that walk out earth. Mental illnesses come in all forms and none of us is excluded from illnesses of the mind. If you have jealousy in your blood, you have a mental ill element that could lead to a much greater problem. If you have envy in your blood, you have the beginning of a created delusion that will escalate if the problem is not dealt with. In other cases, the problem could bury itself under the surface never brining harm to others, but will soon create more bad habits. The problem grows as mental health experts start distributing prescription drugs that increase behaviors, psych the mind, and controls the mind, while burying the problems underneath. Some antidepressants are dangerous if stopped abruptly. Antidepressants such as Effexor XR if stopped abruptly will increase symptoms such as, suicidal tendencies/thinking, violent outbursts, enraged attitudes, impulsive behaviors and so. The person obviously has something that was buried under the medication and was triggered by the chemicals combined in the drug. Antidepressants in some instances has proven dangerous, yet mental health experts around the world continue to prescribed such chemical laced dangers to mental illnesses of all sorts. It has been proven in some instances that antidepressants will increase alcohol and/or drug addiction symptoms, as well as causing major heart attacks, or damage to bone structures, which leads to many fractures. Examining medications and mental health is often difficulty since we have to consider that the advocate and the enemy are working together to bring forth a destruction. When we think of help, we know that when a person helps another that it is always a good thing. However, some of us that believe that we have a piece of paper think that we have all the answers. Otherwise, some may feel that playing against the odds is the best solution for finding the problems. The sad part is more mentally ill individuals are aware that the experts are making numerous mistakes every single day, and they are placing the blame on everyone but the ones making the mistakes. How sad when we are all one people, one nation, and under one rule. When it comes to the mind, the last thing anyone should do is play around with problems existing. In my experience, I watched as psychiatrist prescribed a young boy with drugs that created more problem than what was already in existing. The boy was diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Psychopathic Tendencies, and the list goes on, and the doctors were foolish enough to give this child drugs that made him more deadly than he already was. In turn, the doctor ignored the patient when he said this only makes me angry than I already am. Now when this person goes to jail, he is the one looked down upon, but if someone was to recognize the truth and come out of denial, they are the ones in the wrong.
Although there are many other alternative therapies for treating migraines, probably the first thing most of us will turn to is medication. Society today looks for quick answers found inside a pill, tablet or capsule to all our various ailments. There is certainly nothing wrong with resorting to medication, but when it comes to migraines one should be especially careful about what kind they use.
ASPIRIN
Aspirin is the grand old standby for pain relief. It seems as though aspirin has been around forever and its reputation is getting better every day as it has become a recommended daily preventative measure against heart attacks. Here are some thing to keep in mind when using aspirin to treat migraines.
• Aspirin should never be given to children under 12.
• Absorption of aspirin is much more effective and the chances for stomach problems are significantly decreased when dissolved in water.
• Aspirin can be used in combination with codeine; however be aware that codeine often causes constipation and/or dizziness.
PARACETAMOL
• Similar to aspirin, but usually less irritating to the stomach lining.
• Is often used in combination with codeine or sedatives which often strengthens its ability to relieve pain.
• Paracetamol can cause liver damage if taken in excessive quantities.
SUMATRIPTAN (Imigran)
• Prescription drug developed specifically to act against migraine headache.
• It has been proven to be quite effective against migraine.
• Imigram is available in tablet, injection and nasal spray forms.
• Sumatriptan effects include nausea, and chest and throat tightness.
• Sumatriptan should be avoided by those suffering from heart disease, poor
circulation or angina.
METOCLOPRAMIDE (maxalon)
• A prescription medicine used in combination with aspirin as an anti-nausea drug.
• May improve the absorption of other migraine drugs.
ERGOTAMINE (Ergodryl, Cafergot, Migral)
• Another effective prescription drug, this one was originally derived from a fungus that grows on rye.
• Unlike the other medications, this one is not a painkiller, but instead works specifically to reduce the pressure of blood vessels which causes migraine headaches.
• Is often used in combination with caffeine in order to improve its effectiveness.
• It is available in both tablet and suppository form
• Has been known to cause nausea.
• Works by causing a narrowing of the arteries, which may worsen poor circulation.
• This medication should not be used in individuals who suffer from heart angina. Dihydroergotamine (Dihydergot) is a similar drug that is given by injection.
PIZOTIFEN (Sandomigran)
• This is perhaps the most commonly prescribed preventative medication for migraines.
• Common side effects associated with pizotifen include sedation and weight gain.
PROPRANOLOL (Inderal, Deralin)
• Originally introduced to treat high blood pressure.
• Multiple side effects ranging from insomnia, depression and weight gain to nightmares,
impotence, and dizziness due to low blood pressure.
• May aggravate asthma and poor circulation, but is usually safe in heart disease and angina.
• Some people experience problems in absorbing this drug, so high doses may be required.
AMITRIPTYLINE (Tryptanol and other brands)
• The medication works on headaches independently of its antidepressant action.
• Side effects include dry mouth, sedation, weight gain, occasionally blurred
vision, constipation, and bladder problems.
• New antidepressants like fluoxetine (Prozac) and similar drugs are not as effective as headache preventatives.
VALPROATE (Epilim)
• Introduced initially to treat epilepsy, it was found to act against most forms of headaches.
• Side effects include weight gain, nausea, tremor, hair loss and liver injury.
FEVERFEW
• Not so much a medication as an herbal extract that has been found effective for treating migraine headache.
• Few side effects, but be aware that some commercial preparations of feverfew may
be too weak to be active against headache.
METHYSERGIDE (Deseril)
• Methysergide is related to ergotamine.
• Often causes upset stomachs and has also been known to cause muscle aches and dizziness.
• When used over long periods of time, methysergide has caused severe scarring around the kidneys, therefore it must be used strict medical supervision.
When substance abuse is in existing then we are dealing with a mind that is shackled with anger. A person with an alcohol or drug problem often feels that the world has let them down. A person with alcohol or drug abuse often has difficult dealing with their emotions, anger and stress. When the person feels stress, they will often head to the liquor store or the nearby drug dealer for a fix. This is a temporary answer to the problem that adds more problems to the existing issues. Therefore, finding a more productive method for dealing with stress, emotions and anger is advisable. If you resort to alcohol or drugs for relief, you might want to realize that the world has more to offer you. Mental health services can go a long way since your problem is not directly the alcohol or drugs but an underlying source exists that links to the real problem. You probably lived a life and lacked development in your growth. You may even lack educational knowledge that helps you to see things in full light. You might even have a mental illness that is hindering your from living a productive lifestyle. We see then that alcohol and drugs is just another problem you added to problems already in existence. If you use your resources, you might see that doctors have medications that can help you to cope with stress or mental illnesses. You might even see that there are resources available, such as anger management, help groups, and so forth that can help you find a much more effective way to deal with your anger and stress. If you feel like the world is resting on your shoulders, then you might want to review your problems carefully. In many instances, a person has added problems to their life and is the root of their own behavioral issues. You will probably see that alcohol and drugs is playing a large part in how you behave in society. Alcohol usually makes us express our emotions freely without preservation. This opens us up to evil, since our perceptions, sound, and words are affected. This means you may misinterpret someone talking to you, flare up with anger, and possibly engage in a fight. Never take life for granted. If you believe that alcohol and drugs is the answer to your problems then you are on the road to destruction. Life is filled with problems and we all have to face them every single day. It is how you deal with the problems that enhance your success and coping abilities. If you have difficulty managing stress then you might want to review the triggers that ignite your emotions. For example, if you are visiting associations that adhere to negative living then you can see that new friends are needed. In fact, you will see that the association is not friends anyway. A good friend will not allow you to drive and drink, or take you to a bar if you already had too much to drink. A good friend will tell you to your face when you are doing something wrong and try to help you find a way to stop. Alcohol and drugs only increase your chances of exploding when your emotions are threatened. You might have probable cause to strike out, but in most cases, you do not have cause at all. I hope that this helps you to see that alcohol and drugs only increase anger’s chances of opening up and extending your problems. If you are an abuser then your path is marked, since if you are caught drinking and driving you will have more problems that what you already had. If you are taking drugs then you know that someday the police will knock on your door and ask you to step outside. Once those handcuffs go on, alcohol, drugs will be removed from the picture, and more problems will lead you to overwhelming stress, meaning you are adding something to what you could not face in the first place. There are people that care whether you can see it or not. You are not alone!
Anger is stemmed from hate and when it is not dealt with the person often acts out aggressive putting self and others at risk. Persons acting out in anger often have underlying issues that is missed, or else has not been diagnosed. It could be relatively to alcohol and/or drug abuse, as well as mental illnesses. Often the individuals have difficulty dealing with their emotions and feelings and will attack out of anger. The root of this frustration is often rooted somewhere in the persons past. The individual may have been abused as a child, underdeveloped or severely neglected. Another underlying cause may contribute to negative influences. For example if a child has been bullied and no one handles the situation, he or she will probably develop anger and it will continue to grow. There are classes developed for people that have inability to control their behaviors or anger. The classes are designed to get the patient to open up and address his or her feelings and emotions, and then come to an area of management. The classes often have other individuals with the same level of uncontrolled anger and together they work to get along with others. Often a trained therapist will conduct the classes and deal with each other in a group-oriented atmosphere allowing each person to explain his or her problems and situation. The therapist will often work to address each individual, sometimes making them angry in an effort to find the root of the problem. When therapist is dealing with hate and anger, they must stay alert since potential risks are involved. If a person is triggered and anger is the issue, the person may become violent. Violence is something we all want to avoid; therefore, to deal with the patient therapist must enter with caution. Again, there are underlying issues to address; therefore, we must look at all aspects of the person’s behaviors, thinking patterns, logic, and so forth. If the person is illustrating illogical thinking then it is obvious we must get the person on track. Of course, the patient may have cause for the anger, yet we must teach him or her how to deal with it in a more suitable method. We can look at the thinking patterns to determine if mental illness is the underlying source of the person’s disability. If mental illness is involved, we want to send the person to a qualified mental health expert for evaluation. However if alcohol and/or drugs are involved when want to send the person to drug and alcohol classes. By combining mental health expertise, anger management classes and/or drug and alcohol classes, we can work toward recovery on the level of problem. After a series of treatment, it might be that the patient will also need medications to control his or her anger. Often when a person has anger issues and is allowed to talk through their problems they often find relief and can move forward into a positive light. Anger is a miserable home to habitat, therefore someone is suffering as a result and everyone is at risk. None of us really wants to undergo pain and suffering. When a person has anger issues, it often affects the central nervous system, the mind, body and so forth. This adds additional risks to the person suffering and if not addressed us are looking at more cash and time to deal with additional problems. If you notice, your child is showing aggressive behaviors it is important to get help immediately. Most parents care for their children and often notice when a child is behaving inappropriately and often. It may be that the child has a mental illness from hereditary is in need of immediate help before other symptoms develop. If you have a teenage child that is, showing aggressive behaviors you might want to sit him and her down and ask what is going on at school? If your child had not illustrated these types of behaviors before then something is going on. Before it gets out of hand, help him or her to learn to manage their anger. Life is too short to let your child go unnoticed.
