Situational Management Disabilities

Situational management in mental health is relating to patients appropriately to find the source of the problem, as well as finding a solution to fix the problem. Disabilities come in all forms, including schizophrenia, posttraumatic stress, bipolar, depression, and multiple personality and so on. When a person has a mental disability we must always seek out the problems that lay beneath the surface of the diagnose. Each disability has its own unique symptoms, yet may include symptoms of other diagnosis. For example, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder has symptoms including flashbacks and nightmares; likewise, Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) (Currently Known as Dissociate Identities) patients often suffer flashbacks and nightmares as well. Therefore, you must look at all symptoms of each diagnose before concluding or deducing what we are dealing with. Schizophrenia is another complicated disability. Psychotics, Schizophrenia and several other types of diagnoses including different types of schizophrenia often have similar symptoms. For example, schizophrenias often hallucinate, and so will a patient with psychosis. The difference in the diagnose is that schizophrenias often have its own symptoms, and are often more extensive than those with psychosis. We can see from this information then that we need a situational management solution in order to deal with each problem in the various diagnoses.
Looking at Schizophrenia the situational management should be as follow: Schizophrenias should automatically receive medications to prevent further complications, including harming self and others. Schizophrenias often need long-term therapeutic treatment, and management of their life. Often these people cannot find a resolve since Schizophrenia is often permanent due to the lack of knowledge on the complicated purpose of the disability. Psychotics are often difficult to treat as well, since little information is available regarding the problem. Psychotics are another type of disability that needs long-term treatment and medications to avoid further complications. When the two go unnoticed, the result could prove disastrous, since the symptoms are often a potential danger. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is also complicated, since at one time the diagnose was only issued to war survivors. Now studies are proving that Posttraumatic Stress Disorder is extended further than war, and found that many persons today suffer from Posttraumatic Stress. Although the diagnose has its own complications the therapist often has to take another route to treat these patients. They often include medications, but sometimes have to take a different approach in therapy to treat the patients. Since posttraumatic stress has different levels, the situational management solution has to conform to the level of posttraumatic stress. Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is a diagnosis in itself and is not related to strict mental illness; rather it is more a neurological issue. Multiple Personality patients are often brilliant, and very observant, simply because amnesia will carry them to a distant part of the brain. Multiple Personality Disorder is complicated in the sense very few understand the complexity of the disorder. To treat this type of diagnose you will need a direct management with extensive skills. The person that is suffering with this disability is often easier to treat those common disabilities, simply because the patient will often submit to the therapeutic treatment, and the only time it becomes extremely dangerous is through the Integration process. This is because the patient will relive extreme trauma through Projections and can become dangerous since the person might harm his or her self. The Projections are an actual event that took place that included trauma, and the pictures are often real-based making it difficult for the patient to decipher. Often at this level, the person will alter and another personality will take the spot. This diagnose is another long-term treatment, and medications will often cause more harm than good. Bipolar is another widespread disability that is affecting millions everyday. This particular disability can be treated with medicines that reconstruct a particular chemical that is absent from the brain. Regardless of what the disability is the patient must be treated distinctly from other patients. Even if a person has bipolar, the symptoms are not always the same in ever case. For example, one person may have suffered childhood abuse, while another has suffered the loss of a family member, obviously the first person will also need situational management that includes trauma reduction remedies.

Are you eligible to get a flu priority shot?

A flu priority shot is something that many people are eligible for but many of them don’t realize it. Most people should get the flu shot each year in order to stay healthy throughout the flu season but some people are able to get the flu shot earlier than everyone else and these people are eligible for what is known as the flu priority shot.

The flu priority shot is what health care workers and some other people in the public can get. If you are able to get the flu priority shot you will have until October 24 to get the flu priority shot before anyone else can get their flu shot. The flu priority shot is the same flu shot as the regular one, the “priority” part of the flu priority shot is only referring to that fact that these people can get their shot first thus ensuring that they get it at all.

The flu shot goes fast and that is why they have set up the flu priority shot program, to make sure that those who really need to get the flu shot get it while it is still available.

If you are 65 or older you may be eligible to get the flu priority shot each year as long as you do not have any chronic health conditions that would make this dangerous to your health. And if you live in a long-term care facility you will also be able to get the flu priority shot every year.

There are others who are eligible for the flu priority shot and they are as follows:

Those who are over two and under 64 can and should get the flu priority shot if they have health conditions that would make the flu very dangerous to them.

Smaller children who are 6 months to 23 months of age should get the flu priority shot because they can be in danger from the flu each year as well.

All pregnant women should get the flu priority shot to keep them and their babies safe from the flu and its side effects.

Anyone who is in the health care field and who comes into contact with the patients are eligible for the flu priority shot and in some cases they actually have to get the flu priority shot or they will not be allowed to continue working.

Preparing for a flu pandemic

There is nothing funny or lighthearted about a flu pandemic. A flu pandemic is a serious problem that some experts say we will all be facing very, very soon. Right now governments all over the world are scrambling to prepare for any flu pandemic that may come our way and no one knows if this is going to be enough to stop it or even control a flu pandemic at all.

All flu’s are monitored in order to find out if they are at risk of becoming a flu pandemic. Countries, governments and scientists are all working around the clock to do their best top prevent a worldwide flu pandemic but is there something that you can do in order to try to keep your family safe from a flu pandemic?

First you need to understand what a flu pandemic actually is. It is quite simple really, a flu pandemic is what occurs when a new strain of influenza comes about and affects the whole world. You will have a flu pandemic when it is a strain that no one has any immunity to. A flu pandemic is a very dangerous situation that can have a disastrous affect on the world’s population.

There are some things that you can do in order to protect yourself from a flu pandemic such as get informed all about a flu pandemic and what it can mean to you and the life of your entire family. A flu pandemic can change the way we live from day to day such as how we go to work, how we go to school and even how we eat.

You can also get involved in teaching others about a flu pandemic in order to spread awareness of the subject, this could even help prevent a flu pandemic all together.

In order to directly protect yourself against a flu pandemic you need to wash your hands many times a day, especially after touching something that could have germs on it. You should also make good use of tissues when you sneeze or cough as this can help to slow down the spread of a flu pandemic. And last but not least if you want to avoid getting the flu in a time of a flu pandemic you need to stay away from other people as much as you possible can. The less exposure you have to the flu pandemic the less likely you are to get the flu.

Will a deadly flu hit other countries soon?

How far will this latest deadly flu strain come in its travels: It all depends on who you ask about this very important subject. Some bird experts say that it will get as far as the United States in North America because of the way that birds migrate. We all know that birds migrate but only the experts know the patters in which they do this and it is this pattern that is making the deadly flu seem more likely to hit North America sooner or later.

The deadly flu is one that we all hope will just go away but it does not look like this is likely to happen anytime soon. The birds that are carrying this deadly flu all spend time in the same places while migrating. These overlapping migration patterns are going to be what makes it possible for use to get the deadly flu.

Already the deadly flu has gone from Asia to Europe, which is bad news for any birds that are suspected of having it, but very few people have caught the deadly flu so far. Very few people that get the deadly flu can pass it on to others but what is causing fear about the deadly flu among many people is the fact that this deadly flu cold mutate into another more dangerous strain of deadly flu.

If the deadly flu were to change and mutate we cold be looking at something potentially more dangerous than the Spanish flu of 1918. That deadly flu killed as may as 40 million people all over the world and this deadly flu could do even more if it comes into being.

Experts claim that it is a pretty sure thing that the deadly flu will get at least as far as Africa in this year alone. After that anywhere is as good a guess as others for the deadly flu to spread to.

Many of the birds that are already infected with the deadly flu live in china right now and they will migrate to many other countries. These birds, or at least many of them travel all over the world every single year only this year they are carrying the deadly flu or at least they are carrying the potential of the deadly flu.

Domestic Violence and Anger

How does anger play a role in Domestic Violence? Simply put most persons that abuse their spouse in this situation are angry due to the antisocial disorder underlying the persons mind. Anger is one of the leading symptoms of personality disorders, which include paranoid schizophrenia, schizoid, antisocial personality, psychopathic, histrionic, sociopath and so forth. Most of the persons that are abusive in relationships have antisocial behaviors personalities. The antisocial personality type often attacks when he or she is drunk or under the influence of drugs. This is not true in all instances, but it is true in most. Antisocial personality types often disregard rules and regulations and often feel they are authorized to do so. Antisocial personality types are controlling and if you are not conforming to their authority, they often vent their anger in a controlling or violent manner. Antisocial personality types will humiliate, intimidate, brutally abuse physically, mentally belittle, and it never stops. This type of individual has never been proven a candidate for recovery. In other words, men that batter their wife in relationships are most likely going to continue until someone dies. It is not wise to engage with these types, as there is rarely a chance of hope. This type will often beat a person, until death becomes the focus. This means someone will die, since this person will become angrier through the years, and often rarely ask for help. Even if he or she does get help, it often fails. I do not recommend starting a relationship with this type of person. The signs are deranged look or expressions, laughing for no apparent purpose, laughing at a situation where a person was harmed, outbursts of anger for no reason, and so forth. This type is superficial and will often lead you to believe he or she is a model to society, when behind closed doors the predator appears. Hate is the underlying source of this person (s) anger, and hate has proven to kill. A deep-seated jealousy is also underlying the anger issues within these types of individuals. Many of these type of angry persons will often take drugs, including cocaine, crack, marijuana, and so forth. They often over succeed the limit of alcohol consumptions and this only increases the odds of them blowing up in a rage. One example can be seen in a small town dubbed Dowagiac, Michigan. The person attempted to kill several women, and was allowed to walk the streets. Little help was provided to this person, and often his outrageous attacks were simply because he could not control the persons involved. The victims were left without justice, and a few even believed that he would change. To date he is sitting in the county jail on a number of charges, including assault of a police office and a hit and run. The police according to witnesses claims that the perpetrator had a weapon, and was drunk when fled and eluded the police and marijuana was also found in the vehicle. This person had an ongoing history of brutally hurting others, and the justice system let those victims down, which led to more anger problems.
Another example of anger is borderline personality types. These people when feeling abandoned will attack others. Sometimes they are physically abusive, while most times they are verbally and mentally abusive. All a person has to do is go to work and when he or she returns home, most likely she or he will be accused. The person might even call the workplace of the mate numerous times to verify that he or she was not abandoned. This is another type of angry person that rarely recovers, and like the antisocial personality types, these types are just as dangerous and manipulative. Paranoid types are also dangerous and manipulative and their anger can never be predicted. In most cases, these types act out on voices outside the head, or psychotic breaks of the mind. Like the antisocial types, the paranoid type rarely has justifiable reason for their behavior. In most cases, it is merely a control issue. This means if the person is out of control he or she will react angrily and violently.
