Migraine Advice from Sufferers around the World

Let’s face facts, sometimes medicine doesn’t work. Sometimes the top alternative treatments don’t work. Sometimes crazy things that you never in a million years thought would work—work!

Mention the word migraine or the word headache in a room with more than two people and you are almost guaranteed of receiving free advice. There’s an almost limitless amount of possible treatments that you may or may not want to try. Most are harmless enough that it really wouldn’t hurt to go ahead and give it a shot. So next time you’ve got a real brain popping migraine and nothing works maybe you should see if one of these will do the trick. It may just turn out to be the magic pill you’ve been looking for all your life.

One common methods that seems to be circulating involves drinking a lot of water. Not just a few glasses, mind you, but a truly titanic amount of water. For some people, it seems the more water you try the better. Maybe this is just a case of transference. You know, your bladder starts hurting so much from expanding under the weight of that liquid that you forget all about your head hurting. Other suggestions are that the migraines are triggered by dehydration and the water fixes the problem in a jiffy.

Others swear by an alternative liquid treatment. Not water, but Benadryl. This probably works by making you so sleepy that you forget all about the headache. Obviously, this is not recommended if you are pregnant. Not to mention that some people suffer from a reverse reaction to Benadryl and get all hyper and probably will suffer a reverse reaction in regard to headache by making it worse. This one, as with all involving medicine, requires caution.

Massage, of course, is a frequently tried alternative method, but it takes time and money and usually isn’t exactly convenient as far as helping out right when the headache attacks. But self-massage is easily done and many, many migraine sufferers turn to it without even realizing. The preferred method seems to be using the fingertips and gently rubbing the temples, the tips of the ears or the back of the head. Of course, many professional massage therapists.

Draw. Just because you aren’t exactly Van Gogh doesn’t matter. Art therapy works wonders and nobody can even come close to explaining why. Maybe it’s just the physical activity, maybe it’s the creative drive coming to the surface and driving away all that nasty pressure taking place inside the cranial vessels. It’s really an amazing thing to watch. People barely able to keep their eyes open have been known to pick up a pen or piece of charcoal and begin applying it to paper and within a half hour their migraine headache symptoms begin to subside. Oddly enough, this therapy has proven more effective in those who claim to have no artistic talent than those who do; actual artists actually seem to be affected the least.

Play a video game. This is probably not the best idea for those whose migraines tend to be triggered by light or noise. If your trigger doesn’t seem related to sensitivity to light or noise, then give this a try. It seems to work best if you play a game that doesn’t require a significant amount of strategy; either shoot to kill or sports-related games tend to have the best results. It is assumed that sports games work through their ability to a migraine sufferer focused on the outcome of actually winning a game that can be won in the time it takes have a migraine. By focusing on the game and having a goal that can be met, the stress that is related to migraines seems to be eased.

And finally, for the minority of migraines sufferers who are male, there is one last suggestion. Of course, there are disadvantages to this approach in that you need the assistance of a willing participant, but those who try it swear by it. (And when you find out what it is, you’ll understand why). Apparently, being on the receiving end of a certain type of sexual practice associated with France has been known to relieve more than just a few migraines. And even if it doesn’t, well, this one is definitely worth giving the old college try.

A Surge of Anger

We walk through life searching for ways to understand how anger interrupts so many lives, including our own. We can see through the history that anger has been a major problem from the beginning of a corrupted world. We know that we have a variety of people, which includes different classes, genders, race, ethnicity, and so forth. We know that society has its own rules, the criminal division has its rules, and the religious leaders have their rules. We also know that there are different countries that have their own beliefs, separating their understanding from our country. This means we are living in a diverse system and that understanding needs to be in order to reduce the number of anger problems around the world. Anger is an emotion that all of us share. When anger gets the best of us then it is time to find anger management solutions to deal with the stress. The many people that are angry find it difficult at times to adhere to the different techniques offered since all of us differ in our own way. Some of us can go for a walk and cool down, while others may walk and find it difficult to find relief. This is because the person is focusing on his or her madness and refuses to let go. When this occurs, it might be best to find another strategy that works for you. You might find a soft cushion and beat it until your frustrations are exhausted. You might even try writing down your feelings on paper and reviewing the list once your anger is vented on paper. If you have a computer, you might want to go online and find an opponent and kick his butt in a game of chess, or what game you choose to play. Winning always enhances a mood. If you find this difficult, you may want to take a blank paper and draw ugly faces. You can draw your emotions and feelings on a piece of paper and this often works for some of us to relieve anger. After you find the technique that works best you, then it is time to learn how to deal with anger by finding the triggers and learning strategies to avoid them. Anger management classes teach us to control our anger, by looking at the triggers, emotions, and person as a whole. If you are angered because someone ate the last cookie then you know you have a problem with selfishness. A cookie is no reason to explode and vent your anger on another person. Material is irrelevant compared to hurting another individual. When you cuss, argue, fight or threaten someone because of your anger you are not only harming your self since anger harms your body, you are hurting the other person as well. Dancing is also great for relieving tension, stress, anxiety, and depression. If you have skills put them to good use, since this can help you manage your anger. Once you step to the beat, put your heart into by listening to the sounds and voices of the musicians. Absorbing your mind into music has proven effective for relieving emotional stress. Getting lost in a world of illusion can benefit the mind when the mind has taking all it can take. Your problem is deeper than the cookie, therefore you can learn by each strategy what really makes you mad. We all have problems we face each day, and some of has more than others do. Therefore, facing reality in full light is great for controlling anger. When you realize you are not centered out and attacked because of whom you are, you will then realize that problems are solvable. If you are in financial problems, you can research and learn how to find a resolve for this problem. Once you get positive insight, it will lead you to take the steps to relieving your stress and anger. If the problem is family, you might look at both sides to see where you can make things better. If someone else is the problem, you might ask this person in a cool voice to better him or her selves, since they are creating a problem. A surge of anger is great if you have control!

Anger Management Delusions

Courts are often misconstrued on criminals, and it often leads to destruction rather than recovery.
One man was taking to court for violent behavior, simply because another grabbed his girlfriend in an inappropriate on an area of her body, and he responded out of courtesy to her and to his traditions. Once he went to court, placed on probation, jail time, courts and fines, and after being evaluated by a professional, he claims that the professional said, “He did not have anger problems.” The man has a history of alcoholism, drugs, and child abuse. The counselor told him that he did not have anger problems; rather he had a problem with alcohol and drugs. Another source claims that he had issues, and they were never addressed appropriately, and that anger management classes only made him angrier. The problem with the first guy was that he was fighting for respect since this is how he was raised, and the courts ignored him. They focused on the money rather than understanding what he was dealing with and over dramatized the entire case. This happens every single time that a person goes to court. The courts automatically assume that a person has a problem once they commit a crime. The first man has never acted out violently in his history unless someone disrespected someone he loved. Therefore, he does not have anger problems; he has a problem that goes deeper than anger. The system is nothing more than a gimmick to earn money, and often will take full advantage of a single mistake. The man was an ex-marine that was taught to KILL and to fight, and yet he is not the one with anger. All he ever wanted was for people to leave him alone, and leave alone the ones that he loves. That is all he asks for, and so the ones with anger problem, are not the ones always sitting in an office being evaluated. Most anger problems are stemmed from another source and often this is ignored. They often do not see what the other person did to anger or provoke the person involved in the assault. Therefore, it is always placed on the victim rather than the perpetrator, and this would piss anyone off. The files of Cass County Michigan alone (Corrupted Police and Justice Systems) has hit the charts abroad the Internet, and this is often ignored, while the so-called criminals are hit with persecution for the rest of their lives. The problem then is not the individuals suffering with anger issues, it is the system that is ignoring the truths and subjecting the perpetrators and victims to control.  After carefully evaluating the first man spoken of in this article, I see that the person does not have an anger problem; rather he has symptoms far more complicated than what anger others have to offer. Let’s take a close look at anger and what it really means, before we diagnose another individual of anger problems.  The terms as illustrated in Webster Dictionary are “to make angry,” and/or “to become anger.”
As you can see, ANGER is a source triggered by another source. (This is by no means an excuse for anyone to abuse another person, as no one has that right). In most cases of Domestic Violence, the perpetrator has a serious mental illness that often includes Anger, but other circumstances are involved. This person was not a mental health issue, rather a victim of circumstance, and needs to address is denial of alcoholism. Anger management is controlling a source that is causing trouble. If you want to control sources, you need to address the many issues involved. There are many types of people in the world with various diagnoses, and often it is ignored. The controversy lies between acceptance and denial and someone has to deal with it, yet few ever do. The problem then is alcohol is the underlying source of anger in some cases, but the overlying problem is deeper than what most really want to address.  Anger is a problem but to understand the source you MUST address all underlying and overlying triggers and problems that are involved to deal with the problem.

Igniting Anger

Anger is an emotion, but when a person is ignited with anger and explodes, then you are looking at one of the signs of mental illness. Most persons that endure igniting anger will confuse or misunderstand others when they are speaking. You can merely ask them what they expect of you when they are mad and they will flare up at you. Often this type of person will ignore your pleas to compromise and blow up in a rage avoiding every word you say. They often make a mountain out of a molehill and will go to all lengths to convince you they did nothing wrong. Everyone is wrong, but the person kicking, striking, cursing, belittling, and so forth. No matter what you do, you can never when if a person is angry. In other instances, an angry person may allow others to take advantage of them, and in this instance, the angry person is often correct. It depends on the person, but we all handle anger differently. Experts believe that angry persons often close their anger inside allowing it to develop into an explosive state, and this is often due to depression or anxiety that is instigating the anger. Anger is often dealt with on passive/aggressive levels, meaning that a person can vent their anger toward others in appropriate aptitudes, such as fighting a corrupted system through protest. Others may avoid issues as they arise, and drag the issues to the point of out of control. Other angry people take their hurt out on other people. For example if you were reduced to a lower position by a friend you might wait until you get home and take the emotions out on your family. This is a common form of anger. It is also common to justify a behavior when a person acts out inappropriately. Stress is another leading cause of anger outbursts. Most times when we are stressed, we feel excessive tension build, irritable, frustrated and so forth. The elements combined are enough to make anyone burst in an uproar. When a person is stress they will feel angry at the world around them, sad at the way they feel, and nervous as a result of standing on shaky grounds. Most of us endure stress or have different stressors in our life, including family problems, society issues, and financial obligations. We are all pressured everyday by someone in the system. Therefore, stress is one of the leading causes of anger management. It is not uncommon for individuals to snap at their families, avoid responsibilities from time to time, and even have problems going to sleep at night. This is all a part of life and stress. Persons that grieve over a death, or suffering from a handicap may often find it difficult to manage their anger. There are all sorts of reasons that we all express anger. Some of us will avoid situations to eliminate anger outbursts. For example, a person with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder has symptoms including flashbacks, which makes them a prime candidate to explode. These types of individuals will often stay out of society, or completely away from people, including family, friends and so on to avoid conflict. For PTSD or posttraumatic stress survivors this is often best since most people in society have no responsibility when it comes to other peoples feelings. Regardless of the situation and why the anger problem exists, it is a mechanism we all have to understand. It is ok to be angry with someone that harms, disrupts our lives, threatens, belittle, or hurts us in any way. It is not ok to beat the person up, or brutally attack the person verbally or mentally, unless that person is promoting a fight. In most instances, we can avoid conflict; however, there are times that we cannot escape. The solution then is learning to address problems in a tactful manner to avoid difficult situations that lead to more problems. When we ignite anger we never know what the results may return, therefore, it is best to let anger go and control the emotions that anger us all. It makes sense to walk with caution through life, since anger can kill.

Multiple Personality Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress

Multiple Personality Disorder and Posttraumatic Stress Disorders are often linked, since patients with MPD are severely abused survivors in all cases as a rule. Multiple Personality Disorders often have symptoms, including distinct personalities, including different genders, or ages, multiple signatures, different IQs, personality types, amnesia, voices within the head, frequent nightmares, the us of we when referring to self, outer body experiences and so forth. The patients are often left alone in the world since rarely does the researchers, experts, philosophers and so on have enough information put together to understand this diagnoses. As a survivor of both Multiple Personality and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, I can tell you in most cases do you ever hear the truth in full about multiple personality disorders. The distance between Multiple Personality Disorders and other common disorders is that MPD patients will fight against lying, strive for accuracy, and enforce precision. As a rule most female patients are rarely violent, however there has been known cases of male patients that were sent to prison for rape, robbery, and other crimes. The fact is the patient was merely acting on a “Projection” and “Interjection” that was sent to him by another alter. In other words, the patient is reliving a horrific moment that probably including rape, robbery or other crimes, and acted out on his visual actions. This means that the patient was thinking that he was fighting, or retaliating or reenacting what the perpetrator did to him. I am not writing many details about Multiple Personality Disorder since I have an upcoming book going on the market. Any information about Multiple Personality Disorder will be provided in great details in my book, I am afraid to close my eyes, when I open them, I might not be me…the Black Demon. Multiple Personality Disorder is a REAL disorder without fictional characters, as many believe. The personalities, including child alters, adult, teen, elderly, are all sub parts of an actually human being that was traumatized beyond a persons ability to cope with trauma. Multiple Personality patients often suffer anorexia and bulimia; they may also suffer from sleeping disorders and discomforts. Some of the personalities are stronger than others, and most all multiple personality survivors are artistic and highly creative. Multiple Personality patients are also extremely intelligent. This diagnosis takes years to relieve, and most therapists will avoid diagnosing a patient even if he or she has two or all of the symptoms of multiple personality disorder. Multiple personality patients also have difficulty with medical treatment, since the blood rates raise and lower, MRI can find seizures one day and nothing the next, respiratory rates often flounder, and some alters may even be blind. The person often goes through life with this disorder, and when they reach a certain age, shattering beyond coping begins. This is when Integration needs to take place. Integration is the processing of sending the alters to an area of the mind for permanent stay. Once the Integration process is completed, most MPD patients are lost in the world. After living an entire life with ‘families’ within, and then all of sudden coming into a corrupted system all alone with little support, is it any wonder they often hate life after Integration. The people often feel a sense of loss when Integrated, since the only family they knew and loved is now sitting comfortable in the chambers of their mind, while they have to deal with all the lying, stealing, controversies, work, and other life stressors alone. The personalities once Integrated can still communicate with the patient, however it is never the same. Most MPD patients also have posttraumatic stress disorders, since trauma from early childhood and throughout their lives is the ONLY reason MPD develops in the first place. There has been many arguments on this controversial disorder, but the fact is, it is real and we must face the truth of its diagnose. The many controversies that has swept the market is often linked to criminals that used this diagnose as an excuse to get away with crime. Had the system been informed and accepted MPD as a real disorder, they wouldn’t have been so naïve as to believe just anyone claiming to have Multiple Personality Disorder, and would have stopped the defendant at the front door.
